Joshua M. Heacock
As the son of a stay-at-home mother and a blue-collar working father, Josh understands humble beginnings. Being the first in his family to attend college, he has been met with life challenges that relate to people on all levels.
A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Engineering, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Josh began his career as an entry level consulting engineer. Within his first 12 years Josh was promoted to Executive Leadership where he managed a team of engineers - becoming the youngest person in the company to achieve that role.
What started as a personal mission to improve his own financial literacy quickly became a passion to help others. Interacting with clients, new graduates, family and friends, the need and interest associated with financial knowledge became clear.
Josh has experience presenting at national and regional conferences and has led lectures on financial literacy for many clients including his alma mater. With his goal of sharing the financial knowledge he wishes someone would have shared with him at an early age, Josh enjoys working with high schools, higher education, young professionals and companies with employees of all ages.
